By subscribing to a CCSPA listserv, you agree to follow these rules. Questions should be directed to CCSPA (ccspassoc@gmail.com), who may suspend or remove users who violate them. Listserv access may not be shared with non-members.

APPROPRIATE USE

Posts must relate to mental health and/or sport psychology services for athletes and student-athletes (e.g., job postings, fellowship opportunities, referrals).
- Use clear subject lines, keep messages concise, and include your name and contact information.
- Reply privately when a response is relevant only to one person.
- Avoid unnecessary attachments and instead provide links whenever possible.
- Do not send spam, chain messages, jokes, or unrelated content.

COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY

The listserv may not be used to advertise or solicit purchases of products, programs, or services that directly or indirectly benefit the author. Examples include:
Advertising a paid program, training, consultation service, or product you created or provide.
- Soliciting clients, customers, or paid referrals.
- Promoting an event, course, or service from which you receive compensation.
- Posts that primarily promote a member's products, services, blog articles, podcasts, books, webinars, businesses, or other commercial content are not permitted on the discussion listserv.
- Sharing affiliate links, discount codes, or other promotions that provide a financial benefit.
- Job postings and other opportunities that do not financially benefit the author are permitted, including free trainings, professional resources, organizational announcements, and relevant community events.

CCSPA provides equal opportunities for members to promote professional offerings through the quarterly newsletter and other official communication channels. Members may submit announcements about publications, events, services, speaking engagements, podcasts, and other professional accomplishments for consideration.

Questions about commercial content should be directed to CCSPA (ccspassoc@gmail.com) before posting.

MISUSE OF THE LISTSERV

Members may discuss differing ideas and perspectives, but must refrain from personal attacks, harassment, offensive language, and false or misleading statements.
Members who violate this rule will receive a warning for the first offense and be removed from the listserv following a second offense, unless the first offense is egregious enough to warrant immediate removal.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Members must protect confidentiality when discussing clinical cases or sensitive situations.
- Remove identifying information.
- Avoid unnecessary details that could identify a client, athlete, staff member, or organization.
- Request private consultation when appropriate.
- Do not share protected information through unsecured email.
- Obtain appropriate authorization when identifying information is necessary for consultation.

RESEARCH REQUESTS

Research recruitment requests are permitted from members only. Please do not forward research recruitment requests from non-members. Requests for letters of support may be directed to CCSPA (ccspassoc@gmail.com).

LEGAL AND ETHICAL USE

Members may not post copyrighted material without permission or use the listserv for illegal, unethical, defamatory, or disruptive purposes.

Publication of a message does not constitute CCSPA’s endorsement of any provider, opportunity, product, organization, or claim. Members are responsible for independently evaluating all information and complying with applicable ethical and legal requirements.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

CCSPA does not routinely review or verify posts. Members should report possible violations directly to CCSPA (ccspassoc@gmail.com).
